Big Brother contestant Kenneth Tong leaves the show

Big Brother contestant Kenneth Tong has decided to quit the show less than a week after he was introduced as one of five new housemates.

24-year-old Tong had entered the Big Brother house on Friday night, just before his girlfriend, glamour model Karly Ashworth, got evicted because she din’t get enough support by voters.

Tong climbed up a wall in the garden to get out of the area the contestants must stay in.

Tong had said to housemate Marcus Akin before he made his escape: "I came in as a legend and I will go out as one."

Tong, who has lived in Hong Kong, America and Scotland, had been given an official warning for swearing at new housemate Bea Hammill, and in view of this had been the bookmakers' favourite to get kicked out on Friday night.
