The preliminary results of the autopsy revealed that it was a heart attack that killed Montcourt.
PR agency Carre Final issued a statement saying that toxicology tests were negative.
Last month, Montcourt reached his highest career ranking of 104 after he qualified for the second round at the French Open, although he was beaten there by Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic in four sets.
Since then Montcourt has dropped down to119 in the world, but this was still a very respectable ranking.
In August of last year, Montcourt had received a ban for eight weeks and was given £7,420 fine for betting on matches but all that was behind him now and it came as a real shock that he had died so young.
