French burglars rob Monica Bellucci's Paris flat
Burglars in France got away with valuables worth around 80,000 euros (£70,000) when they raided actress Monica Bellucci's Paris flat, it has been reported.

The Italian actress was away from home at the time because she was a guest at the Cannes festival on the French Riviera at the time the robbery took place.

Monica BellucciBellucci had been taking part in the closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday and was promoting her latest film Don't Turn Around, which was directed by Marina de Van and co-starred former Bond girl Sophie Marceau.

The thieves stole jewellery, laptop computers and an Italian passport from the actress's flat, and police think the robbers gained access to the fourth floor apartment from a neighbouring terrace.

Bellucci's most famous roles were in The Matrix Reloaded and as Mary Magdalene in The Passion of the Christ.
