Kiss FM and Twitter spread Patrick Swayze death rumour
Rumours that the Hollywood actor Patrick Swayze had died have been severely condemned by Annett Wolf, the star's publicist.

The reports had started when Kiss Fm circulated a message taken from the Twitter website that claimed that Swayze was dead.

Patrick SwayzeWolf countered the false information by explaining that the 56-year-old Dirty Dancing star, who is suffering from pancreatic cancer, was responding to treatment for the disease.

Florida radio station Kiss FM posted the Twitter message on Tuesday but have since removed it.

Swayze's publicist issued a statement that says: "This is to confirm that Patrick Swayze did not pass away this morning contrary to severely reckless reports stemming from a radio station in Jacksonville, Florida."

"Patrick Swayze is alive, well and is enjoying his life and he continues to respond to treatment."

Swayze's page on Wikipedia also had carried the news that the actor had died but was updated to remove this information after the truth was revealed.
