Bad Company frontman Paul Rodgers to leave Queen
Rock singer Paul Rodgers, who is also frontman for Bad Company, has revealed that he will be parting company as the singer for Queen.

Rodgers had got together with original Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor in 2004 and fronted the band as singer on several tours, including Europe and Japan.

Paul RodgersLast year, Queen released the album The Cosmos Rocks on which Rodgers sang.

Queen's original singer Freddie Mercury had died in 1991 following a battle with AIDS that he had been suffering from.

Rodgers has explained that although he is currently leaving Queen it is still possible that he might sing for the band again some day, especially if he was approached to take part with them in a charity concert or other special event.

Rodgers, May and Taylor had performed as Queen at the inaugural UK Music Hall of Fame Awards back in 2004.

Bad Company with Paul Rodgers as their singer are going to tour America this summer.
