The Ranger, decides to wear a mask and his adventures as the Lone Ranger begin as he rides off to hunt down the gang that killed the other rangers. Tonto accompanies him and the Lone Ranger rides on his white stallion named Silver.
The Lone Ranger originally began as a 1930s radio show, which then became a popular TV series.
The screenplay for The Lone Ranger is being provided by Pirates of the Caribbean writers Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio.
Newell is working on the big budget movie Prince of Persia at present, along with the stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton.
