Swine flu fears cause US rap star Young Jeezy to cancel gig
American rap star Young Jeezy has had to cancel a gig at the University of Delaware because of worries about the spread of swine flu after four students tested positive for the disease.

The university's website states that the decision had been made "in light of the recent incidents of influenza".

Young JeezyTicketmaster has announced that they concert will be put on at a later date and that there would be "no refunds until a new date is announced".

In Mexico where the outbreak of swine flu is believed to have begun many other concerts have been cancelled.

American band Los Lobos, who had a big hit in 1987 with La Bamba, as well as singers Alejandro Fernandez and Marco Antonio Solis, are some of the acts that have had their gigs cancelled or postponed amidst concerns about the disease.

British musician Four Tet has cancelled a concert at Pasaje America in Mexico City, trade magazine Music Week has reported.

It would have been the artist's first performance in Mexico, however, all is not lost, because a representative for him said the gig would be put on at a later date.
