American rock legend Bruce Springsteen denies adultery
American rock veteran Bruce Springsteen has denied adultery after it was alleged that the singer had an affair with the wife of a man who was getting a divorce.

Arthur Kelly of Red Bank, New Jersey has accused Springsteen of having committed adultery with his wife, Ann Kelly, to whom he has been married for 17 years.

Bruce SpringsteenSpringsteen is already married to Patti Scialfa and has been since 1991 and the couple have three children, and the star has denied that any such affair took place.

A spokesman on behalf of Springsteen said that the rock star had kept his loyalty to his wife,  and that he stood by what was posted on the singer's website after similar accusations had been made back in 2006.

Springsteen's statement says:  "our commitment to one another remains as strong as the day we were married".

Mr Kelly's divorce papers claim: "The defendant (Ann Kelly) has committed adultery with one Bruce Springsteen, who resides in Rumson, New Jersey, and Colts Neck, New Jersey, at various times and places too numerous to mention."

However, not only does Springsteen deny the accusation against him but Mrs Kelly has also denied the allegations.
