French tennis star Jo-Wilfried Tsonga beats Novak Djokovic
French tennis star Jo-Wilfried Tsonga defeated Novak Djokovic with a 6-4 7-6 (7-1) score and goes forward to the Marseille Open final.

Playing in France, his home country, Tsonga, who was the favourite  and who is the world number 12, made use of his only break point in the seventh game and then went on to win the opening set against his top-seeded Serbian opponent.

Jo-Wilfried TsongaAfter the second set, Tsonga then became the winner of the tie-break, and the French star won the entire match in 85 minutes.

Tsonga has been victorious in the last four matches against Djokovic and was delighted with his latest win as well as very pleased with how he had played.

Tsonga next plays against fellow Frenchman Michael Llodra.

Llodra had defeated second seed and compatriot Gilles Simon with a 7-6 (7-5) 6-2 result.
