French driver Sebastien Bourdais to stay with Toro Rosso team
French racing driver Sebastien Bourdais will be staying with the Toro Rosso team for a second year it has been confirmed.

29-year-old Bourdais had been anxiously awaiting to hear if he would be kept on but was happy to find out on Friday that he will be remaining for another year.

Sebastien BourdaisBourdais will be team-mate to rookie Sebastian Buemi.

British racing driver Jenson Button had been linked to Toro Rosso but the team’s decision to keep Bourdais  means he will have to look elsewhere now.

Toro Rosso team principal Franz Tost explained that the team are expecting Bourdais to make good use of his experience last year.

Much of last season’s glory had gone not to Bourdais but to former team-mate Sebastian Vettel, who has gone up to the main Red Bull team with Mark Webber for this year.
