Drogba also explained that he knew why top scorer Nicolas Anelka was leaving him behind by being in the starting line-up for matches and he added: "At the moment, there's a guy who is hot and racking up goals. I must wait my turn."
Drogba hopes that in the coming year Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari will pair him up with Anelka more often though.
