The album is set for American release on 23 November but the British release date had not been decided on or revealed until now.
Chinese Democracy is produced by Axl Rose and Caram Costanzo, and features 14 songs by the band.
However, two of the songs have previously been released with Shackler's Revenge being included on the soundtrack of video game Rock Band 2, and the film Body of Lies, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe, made use of the song If The World in its soundtrack.
The last release by Guns N’ Roses was a collection of cover songs entitled The Spaghetti Incident? It came out all the way back in 1993 so this new album will be eagerly awaited by fans of the band.
