Natalie Cole goes home after Hepatitis C treatment
Singer Natalie Cole has been released from hospital and has gone back home in Los Angeles, it has been reported. The Grammy award-winner was being treated for the liver disease Hepatitis C.

58-year-old Cole, who is the daughter of the legendary Nat King Cole, had been suffering problems caused by the virus and went for medical attention in New York.

Natalie ColeCole had already cancelled her October tour dates and other appearances after she was admitted to the hospital in September.

A routine examination that the singer had back in July discovered that she was suffering from Hepatitis C.

Hepatitis C gets passed on via infected blood. It can cause serious damage to the liver resulting in death, and can also remain in the body for years before it is discovered.

The disease is often found among drug-users and Natalie Cole has been addicted to cocaine and heroin, as well as an LSD user before a long period in rehab in 1984

Cole’s latest album, Still Unforgettable was released in September.
