The reason given for her failing to show up and for her very late withdrawal was that Winehouse had been taken ill at home in London, but Rock En Seine organisers say they had "no explanation of the exact reasons for her absence".
Amy Winehouse’s spokesman made a statement saying: "Amy Winehouse was regrettably unable to perform at the Rock En Seine show in Paris due to illness."
After her collapse in June this year, it was discovered that Winehouse was suffering from the chronic lung disease emphysema, and just last month she collapsed again.
Winehouse is next scheduled to perform at the Bestival festival on the Isle of Wight next Saturday, although it remains unclear as to the nature of her recent illness or if she will be well enough to appear.
