However, the singer can currently be seen promoting this year's MTV Video Music Awards ceremony in television adverts along with host of the show, Russell Brand.
The MTV awards are going to be held in Los Angeles on 7 September, and Kid Rock, Lil Wayne, Pink and the Jonas Brothers are among the performers who will be appearing.
