
Police colonel Worawat Amornwiwat has stated that Glitter, real name Paul Gadd, would not be welcomed in Thailand either.
Meanwhile Chinese officials have informed the UK Foreign Office that they don’t want Gary Glitter over in China and it is reported that 19 countries have already made it clear that they would refuse his entry.
The former rock singer had flown to Hong Kong from Bangkok after saying he wouldn’t go back to Britain, and claimed he was suffering a heart attack for which he demanded treatment.
Thai police had explained to the Reuters news agency that they intended to deport Glitter back to the UK where he came from originally.
