Osbourne family make TV comeback as a new variety show

Sharon, Ozzy and their children Jack and Kelly Osbourne are making a comeback to American TV with a new variety series, according to the Daily Variety.

The celebrity family, centred around shock-rocker Ozzy Osbourne, will host the six-part show commissioned by the Fox network and made up of music and comedy sketches. It is planned for a launch with a Xmas special.

A gameshow slot, audience participation and pre-recorded on location spots are also potentially in the mix for the Osbournes’ new series.

Their MTV reality show was broadcast for three years until 2005, and they also presented this year's Brit Awards.

The Osbournes have become popular regulars on British television and Sharon Osbourne appeared as a judge on The X Factor, while her son Jack has his own series called Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie that is shown to viewers in the UK.
