French rugby team Catalans Dragons defeat Hull
French rugby team the Catalans Dragons have claimed their seventh away victory and gone within a point of Super League leaders Leeds and St Helens.

In their match against Hull, Thomas Bosc converted tries from Olivier Elima and Kirk Yeaman when the Catalans Dragons were in the lead 12-0 at the interval. Then Jamal Fakir managed to extend their lead further with assistance by Younes Khattabi.

The French squad deserved to win and showed their superior ability with the excellent attack by the half-back team work of Bosc and Adam Mogg.

Carvell, however, was anything but popular with Hull fans who booed him because he had said earlier in the week that he wanted to change his mind about signing a new three-year contract with the club.
