James Bond Quantum of Solace star Daniel Craig injured

Daniel Craig, who stars in Quantum of Solace, which is the new James Bond film, injured his hand and had to go to hospital it has been reported.

40-year-old Craig cut his finger whilst shooting an action sequence in the set at Pinewood Studios on Tuesday, but after he had had medical treatment he went back to carry on working on the movie.

A spokeswoman for the film production company Eon said that Daniel Craig had had to be treated for hurting his face only last week too, however, she said that rumours that a fire had broken out at Pinewood over the weekend were not true.

Filming of Quantum of Solace is due to end at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire next weekend and the film will be going on general release to cinemas in the UK on 31 October.
