Just last week two concerts were pulled and six more gigs, in California and Washington, have now also been cancelled.
Californian dates in Anaheim, Universal City, Santa Barbara and San Jose as well as others in Spokane and Everett in Washington have had to be called off, and Lavigne had already pulled her shows in San Diego, California, and Phoenix, Arizona.
Avril Lavigne has apologised to her fans and said that she had flu three times during her tour and was "run down" and her website says that she had never had to pull out of a gig in her entire professional career.
