Dodi Al Fayed's father Mohamed Al Fayed was not happy with the verdict because he believes there was a murder plot against the couple.
The inquest had lasted six months and the jury returned joint verdicts of unlawful killing of Princess Diana and Dodi Al Fayed through grossly negligent driving or gross negligence manslaughter by Henri Paul.
Princess Diana and Dodi Al Fayed were killed when driver Henri Paul went into a pillar in the Pont de l'Alma in Paris in the early hours of 31 August, 1997.
Mohamed Al Fayed said as he made his way out of the court: "The most important thing is it is murder."
A statement read out on Mohamed Al Fayed was read out and it said: "For 10 years I have endured two police investigations. The French and the Scotland Yard inquiries were wrong. These inquests prove it. They said it was an accident and their findings are now dismissed."
