The ceremony was hosted by the British Ambassador to France, Sir John Holmes and the initiative is also supported by the Federation des Industries Nautiques (FIN), who organized the event. Its objective is to promote Franco-British partnerships in the marine industry.
The winner was selected from a wide range of companies, from distributors to boat builders, and judges said that it had been a tough task selecting the overall winner. For this reason they decided to commend two other partnerships: Interdist (distributor of UK brands Spinlock, Hawk, Gill and Nauticalia) and SD Marine for their 20 year partnership with Raymarine, a leading name in marine electronics.
