French rugby team defeat Italy in Six Nations tournament
France defeated the Italian rugby team with a decisive 25-13 score and go on to their next match in the Six Nations tournament. France will next be playing against Wales in Cardiff on the weekend.

When new French coach Marc Lievremont took over running the France team after the World Cup he decided on making a lot of much-publicised changes to the line-up.

Marc LievremontMarc Lievremont made a lot of changes for each game leaving out players and giving newcomers a chance and it looks as if his plan has worked well so far but Marc Lievremont's team will have to beat Wales by a minimum of 20 points to claim the title when they next play.

Some notable players that helped France to beat Italy were full-back Anthony Floch, whose try took the French side to a 13-6 half-time lead, as well as Yannick Jauzion who extended that lead, and Aurelien Rougerie who ensured that France were the winners.

But France will have to play very well against Wales who now go into the clash against France two points clear at the top of the table.
