Pop star Michael Jackson may face selling Neverland ranch
Pop singer Michael Jackson may have to sell his famous Neverland ranch unless he agrees to pay up nearly $25m (£12.5m) that is owing on the California ex-residence of the star.

Michael Jackson must pay more than three months' arrears on Neverland, or if he fails it will be up for auction on 19 March, according to reports.

Michael JacksonMichael Jackson has not been living at the ranch since he was acquitted of child molestation charges back in 2005 and after that he moved to Bahrain.

Michael Jackson had purchased Neverland in 1987 and the eccentric star named it after an island in the story of Peter Pan, where children never grow up.

Michael Jackson turned Neverland into an incredible fantasy world that featured a zoo and fairground on the massive property north-west of Santa Barbara, but it was closed down in 2006 after he stopped paying his staff or keep up the insurance on the property.

Fox News claim that everything on Michael Jackson’s estate at Neverland will also be up for auction as well as the ranch itself.
