Madonna’s last album for Warner Bros is Hard CandyPop singer Madonna is getting ready to release her final album for Warner Bros with the title of Hard Candy and it will go out in Europe on 28 April, followed by a North American release the next day.
Hard Candy will be Madonna’s first album since Confessions on a Dance Floor came out in 2005, and a single entitled Four Minutes will come out first to announce the album.
Madonna is due to part company with Warner Bros, the label she has had her songs released by for the last 26 years. Madonna is leaving because she has signed a 10-year recording contract with concert promoter Live Nation, and the deal is pioneering because an "all-in-one" agreement will allow Live Nation the rights to all Madonna’s music-related projects, including albums and DVDs, as well as her tours and films. In December of last year, it was speculated that Madonna's new album would be called Licorice but Warner Bros denied this at the time.
