Pink, 28, had met racing driver Carey Hart, in Las Vegas seven years ago and she proposed to him in 2005. Carey Hart accepted and the couple were wed at a ceremony in Costa Rica in 2006.
Pink’s representative pointed out that whilst the marriage is over Pink and Carey Hart’s friendship is better than ever.
Pink made her name as a singer with the hits Get The Party Started and Don't Let Me Get Me and she went on to win the best female rock performance Grammy in 2003 for her song Trouble.
Pink is also well known for her outspoken views on animal rights and has taken part in various campaigns.
