Pop star Britney Spears not allowed child visiting rights

Troubled singer Britney Spears has failed in a bid she made through the courts to be allowed the rights to see her two sons again, although they are in the custody of their father, Kevin Federline.

Britney Spears’ former husband Kevin Federline was given custody of two-year-old Sean Preston and Jayden James, aged one, back in October of last year.

Los Angeles Superior Court has said that no change had been made to an existing order, which prevents Britney Spears visiting her boys.

In January, Britney Spears was banned from making visits following her refusal to give the children back, and police were called to resolve the matter.

Britney Spears was driven away to a hospital and has subsequently been admitted for six days for psychiatric treatment.

At the court session on Tuesday, Britney Spears’ lawyer Anne Kiley was also not granted her request for an order to gag other lawyers from discussing her client’s case in the media.
