Jude Law, Johnny Depp & Colin Farrell for Heath Ledger role

The actors Jude Law, Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell will all be playing different parts for Tony, the character that Heath Ledger would have played in the film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, which is still to be finished.

A representative for Jude Law confirmed that the three stars would be acting in the role of Heath Ledger’s character in the movie instead of him, but was unable to give any more details.

Director Terry Gilliam and his film crew had to stop work on The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus because Heath Ledger died unexpectedly from a drugs overdose in his apartment in New York.

Heath Ledger, 28, had finished filming his part so far for the film in London just before he died.

After filming had been completed in the UK, the $30m (£15.1m) production then relocated to Vancouver, Canada for interior scenes but it had to be put on hold when news of Heath Ledger's death was announced.
