Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline are in a battle over custody of their two young sons, two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James.
Police had been summoned to Britney Spears' home in an attempt to resolve the dispute between the couple, and after nearly three hours, the singer is said to have given the boys to their father Kevin Federline.
Kevin Federline has temporary custody of their sons, in any case, because Britney Spears, who has had limited visitation rights, didn’t comply with court orders imposed on her.
Britney Spears’ lawyers filed a court motion earlier this week requesting that they should no longer be responsible for representing her – the lawyers said there has been a communication breakdown.
