JK Rowling tells Time magazine an 8th Harry Potter is possibleBest-selling author of the Harry Potter series, JK Rowling has hinted in Time magazine that an eighth book might be written, but it is not likely for another 10 years.
Time magazine reported that JK Rowling has admitted to "weak moments" when she has said "Yeah, all right" to such a book, even though in the past she has said the series would be in seven parts and that would be the end.
JK Rowling is a runner-up in Time magazine's Person of the Year list 2007, with the winner being Russian President Vladimir Putin. JK Rowling, however, told Time magazine that boy wizard, Harry Potter, her past main character, would be unlikely to have a central role in an eighth book. JK Rowling was reported in the magazine to have said: "If - and it's a big if - I ever write an eighth book, I doubt that Harry would be the central character. I feel I've already told his story. But these are big ifs. Let's give it 10 years."
