Rock star Meat Loaf postpones Manchester concert
Rock star Meat Loaf has been forced to call off his concert at Manchester's MEN Arena on Sunday evening due to acute laryngitis with which he is still suffering, and doctors have told the singer that he must not perform until he is well again.

However, the show is being postponed and the Manchester MEN Arena said tickets would be valid for the new date, which will be take place on Tuesday, 27 November.


Rock singer Meat LoafOn Friday, Meat Loaf, 60, pulled out of a gig in Birmingham at the last minute, and only two nights before this, he had cut short a concert in Newcastle at the Metro Radio Arena when he became ill and couldn’t continue his performance.

Although it was being rumoured by his fans that Meat Loaf had said it was his final performance, his management explained this wasn’t the truth and said that he was suffering from "exhaustion and stress".

Meat Loaf is due to appear at London's Wembley Arena on Tuesday, followed by the Nottingham Arena on Thursday and the Cardiff Arena on Sunday, 11 November, before he travels to Horsens in Denmark, Bergen in Norway, and ends his tour in the Swedish capital, of Stockholm.
