New X Files movie starts filming in December
Filming for the second X Files movie is going to start on 10 December, according to 20th Century Fox.

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will once again be playing their roles made famous by the TV series as paranormal investigators and FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.


David Duchovny and Gillian AndersonChris Carter, who created the original X Files TV series will be directing the film when production starts in Vancouver, Canada, and he has also written the script along with Frank Spotnitz.

The first X Files feature film was released in 1998 and 20th Century Fox have said that the new film will be released on 25 July 2008 in America first.

Details of what the storyline is going to be are being kept a close secret by all involved, and the title is as yet, also not revealed.

The original cult TV series of the X Files was a hit when it ran from 1993-2002, and won three Golden Globes for best television drama series.
