Earlier on in the interview Nicolas Sarkozy referred to his press secretary as an "imbecile" for arranging the interview with CBS's 60 Minutes show.
Nicolas Sarkozy’s divorce was made public on 18 October, but he has always refused to talk about his private life and before he left he said: "If I had something to say about Cecilia I would certainly not say it here."
President Nicolas Saekozy was clearly losing his patience and he said: "I don't have the time. I have a big job to do ... I'm not angry, I'm in a hurry."
"Bon courage," was the final remark Nicolas Sarkozy made.
