Drug and alcohol testing for Britney SpearsTroubled pop singer Britney Spears will have to submit to random drug and alcohol tests twice a week, according to court papers in relation to her child custody dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Los Angeles Superior Court judge Scott M Gordon stated that Britney Spears, 25, displayed "a habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol," and he also ordered for the singer and ex-husband to finish attending a parenting class.
Kevin Federline, 29, is hoping to get increased custody of their two young sons - Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one - and at present the couple have equal custody of the boys. The court order, which was made on Monday, requires both Britney Spears and Kevin Federline to stop from drinking alcohol and using drugs in the presence of their two young children and 12 hours before either is in charge of the children. However, it is only Britney Spears who has been ordered to submit to random drink and drugs tests.
